adopting journal.txt

I've been having trouble with writing recently. I have a few drafts I've started for my blog, that are just waiting around to be published. I guess I thought I should wait and figure out what I actually want to write before dumping a bunch of massive essays on my blog.
That's why I've decided to start journalling. The journal.txt idea makes so much sense as a simple, passive, lightweight technique, I think it'll get me used to writing for a blog, and maybe it can serve as a platform for me to write post drafts1 less intentionally instead of getting lost in the "structure" of my obsidian vault. I've decided to make a few changes to Herman's idea, like adding tags so I can search for a related entry if I need it, and I'll add the ~time I wrote each entry within a day. Maybe I'll adopt the 1 sentence per line idea at some point, but I don't want to overwhelm myself with too much change right now.
see you soon 👋

That's what I'm doing right now! This was my first entry, I just edited it a bit.↩
